Man Ray
Man Ray was an American modernist, born in Philadelphia in 1890. He spent most of his artistic career in Paris, France. Master in photography, drawing, film, painting, and so on. He died in 1976 at the age of 86.

Laura Laine
Laura Laine is a surrealistic fashion illustrator from Finland. I found an interview with her from the March 2009 issue of Nylon magazine, and this is a segment from it:
Q: "How has fashion illustration changed now that photography is so ubiquitous?"
A: "Before photography was commonplace, illustration was used for its informative value and was very literal. I try to bring something more to it — a specific mood, a feeling, the thoughts fashion awakens in me."
