James Jean

Petite Courbet

I like James Jean's jumbled, collage-like sketches. I think they're really interesting. He also has a lot of his paintings and other drawings on his website.

Jeff Schaller — Shirley You Can Dance

Tonight, I went to a gallery opening in Mitchell Hall at West Chester University. Some of Jeff Schaller's pieces are up, along with work from Rhoda Kahler, Jamie Paxon, Jennifer Maloney, and Adrian Martinez. I was intrigued by Jeff Schaller's pieces because his amazing use of encaustic. It's a really impressive show. If you're in the area you should come check it out.
